Alternatives To Blogger?

Having issues with Google over content...anyone have thoughts, ideas about alternatives to Blogger?  I really like the easy use with Blogger, but these issues are reaching my limit...Don't particularly like Thumblogger.  What about Tumblr?  Wordpress?

Also interested to know if anyone is keeping track of blogs Google is taking down?  Predominantly gay content?  Or, gay and straight?

Does anyone know - with any degree of certainty - how Google defines "pornographic content?"
