Allkink Set To Close The Jockstrap Locker Room October 2

I was tremendously disappointed when I read an email this evening from a follower of JSJ, informing me that the Jockstrap Locker Room at Allkink.com would soon be closing.  For those of you unfamiliar with it, the Jockstrap Locker Room is a site that has been around for 14 years, and has been quite well regarded over that time period.

I quickly linked over to the site to confirm, and found this statement, which I repeat here in part:

It is with a great deal of sadness that I announce the closing of AllKink's Jockstrap Locker Room after more than 14 years of service to the jockmen of the world. It's a tough decision that I've been wrestling with for over a year but one whose time has finally come. The Jock Zone chat room has already closed and the balance of the site is scheduled to close on Sunday, October 2, 2011.

It's always sad to see a business fold up, regardless of its owners' reasons.  In this case, the site was well liked by the jockstrap community, to be sure.  In fact, when I visited the site this evening, its visitor counter registered almost 10,000,000 visits since 1997.  Needless to say, the site will be missed by many.

What more can I say other than a heartfelt thank you for the hard work and efforts everyone over at Allkink.com demonstrated over the years.  Best of luck with whatever your next project might be.
