As I promised, I found a few examples of some really "remarkable" pieces of
underwear to demonstrate my feeling that some of these so-called "sexy"
designs for men's
undergear have gone too far. We're guys, after all. Check this one out:
This was featured on a top online underwear seller's website. It took me a while to figure out if this was actually a male or female being depicted. Come on!
Or, how about this little number?
It's not only
animal print, which is always tacky - but it's really, really bad animal print on top of it. Grrrrrrowwwwl! I think not. We are not Tarzan, and even if we ought to be him, we'd never pull it off in that thing. That's more like Sheena Queen of the Jungle, which does not say sex me up all night long.
Now, that is not to say that all of the newer designs are bad - some are pretty smokin hot, actually. Like this one, e.g.:
Ok, so it's fishnet...they're sure as heck aren't hose, are they? At the same time, there aren't the tired old jocks we were forced to wear ages ago in PE class, thankfully.
As a jockstrapping consumer, I wish that some of these designers would remember that, particularly with jockstraps, you are designing the only truly, 100% male article of clothing. Please try to avoid turning them into a pair of panties. What's next little powder blue or pink bows right above our cocks? Ugh!
